Google Maps in 3D from your cell phone

Google Maps in 3D from your cell phone

This function allows you to see the directions of the Google Maps app in three dimensions from your Android.

Google Maps is one of the most used navigation apps, since many use it when they are looking for an address.

What many people don’t know is that this tool has many utilities, ranging from help to locate your car, create a user profile or follow local guides to know certain places.

A function that has recently been discussed is to be able to see the maps in three dimensions from your cell phone, we will explain how you can do it.

The satellite view of buildings or road incidents in relief was only possible from the web; however, it is now part of the next update of the app. The new function shows from Android phones a new relief mode in Google Maps.

Since a three-dimensional layer is activated that allows you to see the different elements of the map in 3D. This tool will be very useful when driving or walking while looking for an address.

Technology definitely makes our lives much more practical. You can download the application from your Google Play app store making sure it is version 10.28 or better yet if you already have it you can update it to that version.

How to view Google Maps maps in 3D from your cell phone?

The feature is already installed in version 10.28 of Google Maps and is so simple to use that anyone can do it.

First you must enter the Google Maps app, in the upper right of the screen of your mobile is the icon of layers, which allows you to add different layers to maps such as satellite vita, relief, traffic, among others.

Click on this icon and in the drop-down menu, at the bottom you will find the “map details” section and you must click on the 3D icon in the Street View view and you are ready to enjoy the Google Maps 3D experience from your Android pone

This makes it easy to activate the three-dimensional layer. Now when you move your finger over the maps, you will see the buildings and geographical details with relief.

We remind you that there are certain equipment that although they have this function, the maps are not displayed in 3D.
