You can no longer downgrade on iOS

Apple remains firm in its fight with the jailbreak and that is why with increasing frequency, it begins to take away the possibility of downgrading its iOS.

This was something totally predictable by Apple after the release of iOS 13.3.1 and iPad OS 13.3.1. What they are pursuing is that any user who has updated to these versions of the operating system cannot turn back being ‘condemned’ to stay in the most recent version released.

The community of jailbreak lovers, which is getting smaller and smaller, looks for the security holes of the operating system to access the guts of the equipment and this is something that apple doesn’t like.

This way, users who wanted to jailbreak in iOS 13.3 will be left wanting because they will not be able to do it.

Obviously, any company wants its users to be in the most up-to-date operating system version. Theoretically, this is a much more stable version with interesting new functions, especially in terms of security. If you want to avoid problems with your equipment it is always better to be in the most updated version.

We must remember that the jailbreak process takes advantage of a security vulnerability, and that is why we do not recommend doing this to your device.

Right now, Apple is testing version 13.4 that theoretically will be released in the month of March. Therefore, hackers and security researchers are already trying to find ways to Jailbreak the new version.

If you want to find out what version you are currently running, you can go to “Settings> General> About>Software Version”.
