Microsoft spoils the wallpaper in the latest free update of Windows 7

Users with Windows 7 have received a latest free update, released before the end of support for this version of the operating system. They arrive with numbers KB4534310 and KB4534314. Although they have also generated a problem quite annoying to users, since the wallpaper is having failures.

In the last Patch Tuesday of January 2020, the firm made available to these teams its latest update, both security and functions. However, as is now being known, this latest operating system update is causing some problems to these Windows 7 PCs.

The problem seems to affect a wide variety of computers, including business devices where unfortunately users cannot change their wallpaper.

It seems that Microsoft is already aware of this problem, so they would be working to launch a solution soon.

Interestingly, Microsoft has promised that there is a solution on the way, but it will be paid for organizations that bought Windows 7 Extended Security Updates (ESU). In principle, the alternative solution that users are using is to configure a custom image in an option that is not to expand.

The problem is that this bug with the wallpaper in Windows 7 may have no solution for some users. Since those who receive payment updates, those who have paid to continue to have support, such as companies, will have an update where the error is corrected. But those who have run out of support would not have it.

Therefore, there would be users who are going to stay with this bug in the wallpaper permanently. An annoying problem and that would be a mistake that many would not forgive Microsoft.

If you do not plan to pay for security updates for Windows 7 and also have the business version, the wallpaper will be broken forever, although the other option you have is to make the jump to Windows 10.

Since Windows 7 computers are already quite old, the user must be aware that the natural step is Windows 10, which not only has regular security updates, but also with the Windows Defender antivirus.
