New solutions to end the problems in the profiles caused by the KB4532693 patch

A few days ago, the problem that was affecting users who had installed the KB4532693 patch released by Microsoft for Windows 10 started on their computers.

In the forums, it was said they were affected and encountered by an unpleasant problem: they were "disappearing" personal files that were on the desktop as well as problems with profiles that even forced them to create a new profile.

Although at first Microsoft did not recognize the fault existence, the complaints of those affected meant that finally in the company they only had to recognize that there was a problem and that in fact they needed to work on a solution. Until then, there were only alternative methods proposed by those affected.

While Microsoft releases a patch that corrects this bug, we have known another solution that could help restore the user's profile. The proposal appears in the user community at (by) the hand of a moderator.

It states that Microsoft is aware that some customers have been experiencing problems with their profile after installing the KB4532693 patch on versions 1903 and 1909 of Windows 10.

Some of the possible solutions that had been proposed so far are:

Restarting in safe mode and then starting again in normal mode should solve this problem for most clients.

Uninstall any secure banking software or antivirus in the temporary profile, this could solve the problem.

Restart Windows several times (some users have had to do it up to 4 times), in a process that can solve the fault or if necessary, create a new user profile and manually transfer the data from the new to the old one and then delete it and So go back to the original situation.

These options remain temporary in the absence of a definitive solution through an update that is released in the next few days and in the absence of Microsoft officially recognizing the problem.
